About The Position

SciTec is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain a continuous deployment pipeline for an integrated infrastructure, platform, and software service stack in RHEL factory and test environments. Pipeline technologies include Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, ArgoCD, and Ansible Playbooks. The role also develops automated test cases to validate program releases and supports integration of data sources, processing pipelines, and infrastructure components to meet mission requirements. Duties are performed in Aurora, Colorado, and Boulder, Colorado. The position supports feature-release requirements and, at times, requirement verification events. It develops and maintains automated test procedures and cases, with traceability to program deliverables and requirement-verification records. Testing spans infrastructure and platform services, APIs and microservices, data pipelines and messaging systems, and user-facing applications. The engineer integrates automated testing into CI/CD, supports release builds and validation, and works with integration, development, and security leads to ensure test coverage. The role also supports regression, performance, and integration testing; analyzes results and troubleshoots failures; and contributes to evolving the system toward automated deployments and regression checkouts within a year.
