About The Position

Software Mind is seeking a Test Automation Engineer for a 5-month project to enhance functionality and usability of a customer's innovative global technology platform. This platform supports scalable screening programs for over 33,000 clients worldwide, performing over 93 million screens annually. The project focuses on setting new standards in compliance management by providing easy access to crucial information, ownership tracking, and automated notifications. The goal is to empower end-users to multitask effortlessly, increasing efficiency and control. This role involves UI framework implementation for automation, functional verification, regression test automation, and integrating QA automation at the CI/CD level. The engineer will collaborate within Agile teams, implement performance and security testing protocols, provide detailed reports, and continuously improve automation processes. Candidates must be based in the European Union.

Requirements

6+ years of QA experience in high volume SaaS platforms.
Experience with TypeScript, Webdriver.io and Playwright frameworks, Browserstack and Github pipelines.
Minimum 5 years working as a fulltime Test Automation Engineer for a customer facing high volume SaaS platform.
Minimum 2 years working in an Agile development environment (Scrum or Kanban preferred).
Experience with QA Automation platforms and technologies including CI/CD level automation integration.
Proficiency with specific automation tools like JavaScript, Webdriver.io and Playwright, Browserstack, Tosca, and CI/CD tools like SonarQube or Github pipelines.
Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of performance testing and security testing practices.

Responsibilities

UI Framework Implementation to automate solutions that will drive the next generation of compliance management systems.
Functional Verification and Regression Test Automation
Own solutions and outcomes by automating complex cases and integrating QA automation at the CI/CD level.
Collaborate within Agile teams to develop scalable solutions.
Implement and maintain performance and security testing protocols as part of the automation suite.
Provide detailed reports and insights from automated testing to enhance product quality.
Continuously evaluate and improve automation processes to increase efficiency and coverage.
