About The Position
This role is for a Test Automation Engineer with 6+ months of experience, located in Iselin, NJ. The position requires the candidate to be onsite from Day 1. The primary focus will be on designing and executing automated tests for banking applications, with a strong emphasis on UI/image validation and overall quality assurance.
Requirements
- 4+ years in test automation
- Experience with Selenium, TestNG/JUnit
- Knowledge of banking/domain applications
- Experience with image/visual testing tools (Applitools, Sikuli, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing
- Create and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium / Playwright
- Perform API automation testing using REST Assured/Postman
- Convert manual test cases into automation scripts and enhance test coverage
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects with detailed documentation
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps)
- Perform regression, integration, and system testing
- Collaborate with developers for root cause analysis and defect resolution
