Test Automation Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for AWC web applications. You will be responsible for building and executing various test suites, including UI, functional, regression, and integration tests. Additionally, you will develop API test automation for Teamcenter RESTful services and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration with developers to define acceptance criteria and test coverage, as well as defect tracking and documentation, will be key aspects of this position. The role also includes serving as a liaison between offshore teams, developers, and product stakeholders, and maintaining test documentation and release sign-off artifacts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of test automation experience on web applications
- Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks — Jest, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium
- Proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript or Python for writing and maintaining test scripts
- Experience with REST API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured
- Familiarity with Teamcenter / Active Workspace UI workflows and business objects
- Working knowledge of Git/GitHub and CI/CD integration for test pipelines
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar)
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment

- Core skill: JavaScript or Typescript with Jest or Playwright framework
