Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) integrates, verifies, and validates our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work together with our customers. We are currently hiring a System Integration and Test SI&T engineer to join the standard missile Offices of the Chief Engineer. The individual will provide critical support to the day-to-day system integration and testing activities defined in the test strategy. In addition, the individual will be called on to support the evolution of individual test strategies and architectures focused on program development and execution. This leader will provide critical input in the development, maintenance and implementation of the program test strategy as it is optimized to meet program objectives. The role requires critical interaction/event planning with the Chief Engineers, Lead System Engineers, and other program TAs, in addition to software team and system integration and test team. Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of Eight (8) years of prior relevant experience.
An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance
Experience in Integration and Testing

Nice To Haves

Experience working with customers to develop program integration and test strategies
Graduate or able to enroll in the Raytheon Test Architect Development Program
Platform Integration and Test work with surface ships and/or land-based missile systems
Production line testing experience
Statistical analysis experience towards optimization of testing

Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting development and implementation of test strategy for critical aspects of the program production efforts and defining metrics to gauge progress.
Facilitates the transition between Engineering Development and Production Test Program Phases to optimize production assembly and test solutions.
Responsible for defining or optimizing test environments and requirements to ensure on-time deliveries.
Responsible for interface and coordination with internal and external organizations on test strategy, coordination, execution, and reporting activities.
Extensive interaction with Program Managers, Directorate Leads, Engineering leadership, and Technical SMEs.
Coordinate with other program IPTs/CPTs to draw on their subject matter experts to address emergent issues across the systems, software and hardware domains.
Represent the interests of the Systems Engineering and Test Conduct (SE&TC) directorate on the program.
Interface with the customer community on a regular basis to share test status, issues, and address programmatic concerns.
Have a good knowledge base for Model Based Systems Engineering and how to use this in Integration and Test for the test strategy.
Mentoring junior I&T engineers on their performance of their duties
