About The Position

Our client, a successful software house, is currently looking for a Test Agent on a permanent basis. They are ideally looking for someone who will provide ongoing product testing in collaboration with their software developers and product experts. The successful candidate will need to have technical aptitude and enjoy working in and around IT systems. You will also work closely with the support Team and will be managing the testing required to support fortnightly patch releases. This will also incorporate working with the product team during development sprints to write and plan testing criteria for the major product releases.

Requirements

Comfortable navigating different software packages for the purposes of testing or using it to test (CRM, Issue Management, Postman (API), etc.)
Willing to learn different software and context specific information for different clients
Experience of software development lifecycle
Experience of software testing in an Agile environment, working closely with developers and product owners
Experience of writing testing strategies, test planning, acceptance criteria definition writing, logging faults, features and bugs, documentation of test cases for repeatability
Writing SQL experience

Nice To Haves

ISTQB certification in Software Testing or equivalent
Automated testing experience
