About The Position

Valiant is looking for a TES-Logistics Warehouse Specialist Work Group Leader to join our team! This role provides supervisory oversight of assigned employees conducting warehousing operations in accordance with JRTC Mission support Contract PWS and Branch Standards. The position requires maintaining 100% accountability of all TES equipment and property in the assigned warehouse, issuing and turning in TES equipment to Rotational Training Units, and performing a variety of warehousing duties. These duties include understanding storage plans, supply acquisition, battery charging, key custodian responsibilities, record keeping, acquiring consumable supplies/equipment, verifying supplies against receiving documents, noting discrepancies, delivering materials, storing and stacking materials, rearranging and taking inventory, preparing MILES equipment for shipment, and charging batteries. The role also involves receiving equipment out of maintenance as needed and operating hand or power trucks or forklifts. Access to TS-MATS is required, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Functional abilities with basic mathematics.
• Ability with computers, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to multi-task and work independently when needed.
• Previous experience as a warehouse worker or previous military experience working in battalion-size (or equivalent) logistics (S4) operations.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience in the military or civilian equivalent.
• Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries.
• Individual must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening, will be subject to random drug screening.
• Must possess a valid Louisiana State Driver’s License (or equivalent).
• Employment contingent upon favorable background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervisory oversight of assigned employees conducting warehousing operations in accordance with JRTC Mission support Contract PWS and Branch Standards.

• Issue and turn-in TES equipment to Rotational Training Units.
• Performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the established storage plan procedures, supply acquisition, and battery charging requirements; daily duties include, but are not limited to: key custodian, record keeping, acquisition of consumable supplies/equipment for rotational requirements, verifying supplies (or equipment) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, delivery of materials to various storage and operating locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials and equipment, preparing MILES equipment for shipment, charging batteries for rotational use.
• Must be able to receive and maintain TS-MATS access.
• Receive equipment out of maintenance as needed.
• Required to operate hand or power trucks or forklifts while performing warehousing duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
