About The Position

Essity is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Specialist for Wound Care to manage and grow sales of their Advanced Wound Care product portfolio within a designated geographic territory. This role focuses on clinically unique brands and reports to the Regional Sales Manager. The Specialist will drive sales across the continuum of care, with a primary focus on Acute Care, Surgical Areas, and Wound Care Centers, while also penetrating alternate sites of care. This is a remote position covering the greater San Francisco Bay area, requiring the ideal candidate to reside in or near San Francisco and be willing to travel frequently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 3 years of outside sales experience required.
  • Outside sales experience in the Healthcare Industry preferred.
  • Self-Motivated, Able to work independently, Competitive, Tenacious, High Integrity, Fearless, Strategic, Passionate, and a Team Player.
  • Overnight travel, work weekends, and into the evening may be applicable (approximately 25-35% of time).
  • Must be fluent in Microsoft programs; Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Experience with CRM recommended (i.e. Salesforce.com, Dynamics).

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to wound care, surgical markets a plus.
  • Additional experience in Business to Business sales helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales targets through key account acquisition and competitive conversions.
  • Effectively communicate clinical and product knowledge.
  • Conduct customer needs assessments and develop solutions.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders within targeted accounts.
  • Interact with advanced practice clinicians to influence product choice.
  • Execute sales processes and implement contracts for key GPO and IDN awards.
  • Maintain and increase penetration in existing accounts and healthcare systems.
  • Coordinate opportunities internally and externally with customers.
  • Develop and execute effective territory and account plans, including pre and post-call planning.
  • Complete all administrative duties accurately and timely.
