As a Territory Sales Representative, you will drive growth in sales, developing direct relationships with municipalities and decision-makers responsible for street, park, trail, and parking lot lighting. This is more than a sales role—you will act as a trusted advisor, market developer, and relationship builder, helping cities transition to a brighter tomorrow. Based in our Coppell, TX sales and engineering office, you will work closely with internal teams and technical staff to deliver Fonroche lighting solutions across municipalities. Requirements

  • A proven track record in business development, consultative sales, or municipal sales.
  • Ability to engage, present, and negotiate with government officials, partners, and contractors.
  • Ability to assess market trends and drive standardization efforts across regions.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, email, and standard business systems for reporting and forecasting.
  • A self-starter with strong listening and sales skills who thrives on achieving targets.
  • Regular travel is required to meet with customers and develop the region effectively.
  • This role is based in our Coppell, TX office when not traveling for client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a pipeline of projects, closing deals that drive regional expansion.
  • Lead municipal sales efforts, positioning Fonroche as the go-to solution for solar lighting adoption.
  • Serve as the primary contact for municipalities, ensuring long-term engagement and repeat business.
  • Explore new sales and market development strategies to accelerate growth.
  • Become proficient in solar lighting principles and present the technical and cost-saving benefits to clients.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and collaboration within CRM tools.
  • Regularly meet with municipal leaders in person to build strong, trust-based partnerships.
