Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is hiring a Territory Sales Representative to own and grow a dynamic, multi‑segment territory across North & South Carolina . In this field‑based role, you’ll drive revenue by partnering with YMCA, Campus Recreation & Athletics, and Local Government customers - leading consultative, long‑cycle sales and positioning us as a trusted, long‑term partner. This is a great fit for a self‑directed seller who enjoys full territory ownership , builds strong relationships, and wins through credibility and consistency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in field sales or account management (B2B or solution selling)
  • Strong relationship‑building and consultative selling skills
  • Experience managing large territories and competing priorities
  • Comfortable navigating complex, multi‑stakeholder buying environments
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred)
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across North and South Carolina

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into YMCA or Campus Rec Facilities
  • Background in fitness, wellness, or capital equipment
  • Exposure to longer sales cycles tied to budgets or capital planning

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a large NC/SC territory across multiple customer segments
  • Spend 3+ days/week in the field building relationships and advancing deals
  • Lead consultative, long‑cycle sales with multi‑stakeholder groups (executives, boards, municipalities, etc.)
  • Drive new business and expand existing accounts through refresh cycles and long‑term planning
  • Partner with architects, designers, and stakeholders on facility planning and equipment solutions
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and CRM activity with strong discipline
