About The Position

To thrive as a Sales Representative with Behr, you must be organized, approachable, professional, and be ready to manage every aspect of Behr-related business in five or more Home Depot stores in your area. Our Territory Sales Representatives help us put our best foot forward, every single day. Daily, you will visit your stores and be the face of Behr. You’ll do sales, relationship-building, merchandising, ordering, and any problem solving. With every task and interaction, you will leave someone with a positive impression of Behr and the knowledge that we genuinely want to help them do their work better. As a Territory Sales Representative, your work hours will vary based on peak selling times. This could mean weekends, holidays, and shifts that can extend until 7 pm. We work while the consumer shops! Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is for all roles at Behr Paint Company.
  • Be organized, approachable, and professional.
  • Be ready to manage every aspect of Behr-related business in five or more Home Depot stores in your area.
  • Be comfortable speaking to groups and able to communicate clearly.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs.
  • Be ready to supply a copy of your license and insurance information upon offer.

Responsibilities

  • Manage every aspect of Behr-related business in five or more Home Depot stores in your area.
  • Visit stores daily and be the face of Behr.
  • Perform sales, relationship-building, merchandising, ordering, and problem-solving.
  • Build relationships with Home Depot managers, Home Depot associates, other Behr reps, professional contractors, and residential customers.
  • Train Home Depot associates, Behr team members, and the public on Behr’s product line.
  • Lead classes or demonstrations in the store.
  • Ensure paint chips, brochures, and products are fully stocked and the area is clean to create a vibrant and eye-catching display.
  • Order needed materials to keep stores stocked with colorants, point-of-purchase materials like samples and brochures.
  • Travel between stores on a consistent and regular basis, spending adequate time at each location.
  • Track mileage for reimbursement using an app.
