About The Position

The territory for this role is lower Fairfield County. The primary responsibility is to consistently achieve sales growth objectives and Business Driver goals through effective management of all key activities within assigned accounts. This includes planning, organizing, and executing sales and marketing activities for all brands within these accounts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Ownership of computer with software compatible with the company’s
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • TIPS Certification

  • Ability to use the following software: Data Driller, E-Mail, Microsoft Office, Indigo Olive.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve all sales goals and Business Driver Objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Meet all distribution and activity standards within the account.
  • Manage all selling activities within accounts, including order management, merchandising, signage utilization, program execution, staff training, promotional activity, and accounts receivable.
  • Prospect to acquire new accounts.
  • Assist in the proper marketing of all key brands in the on-premise sector.
  • Offer and distribute key brand promotional ideas and activities.
  • Pre-plan sales calls and present new products and promotions to buyers.
  • Audit and maintain quality assurance (QA) standards for products.
  • Manage Accounts Receivables to be within credit terms.
  • Use all sales tools and resources for order entry and other sales-related activities.
  • Maintain a current route list with up-to-date data and information.
  • Use Data Driller for effective sales tracking.
  • Educate customers with product information to assist with retail sales.
  • Create beer lists and drink menus for accounts.
  • Aggressively seek additional cooler placement, shelf space, and/or menu placements.
  • Inform customers of new items, programs, and price increases.
  • Actively participate in weekly sales meetings and sales events.
  • Complete tracking forms as required by manager in a timely fashion.
  • Understand company and supplier priorities.
  • Provide positive exposure for the Company through community involvement, quality service, and excellent support.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with accounts.
  • Balance Company objectives with supplier and retailer requests.
  • Outperform competition in customer service.
  • Meet daily deadlines for meeting order entry deadlines and seeing assigned accounts.
  • Turn in money collected to the office twice per week.
  • Audit and maintain QA standards and notify management of deficiencies.
  • Perform duties beyond the normal workday as sometimes responsible.

  • Service internal and external customers by adding value and providing effective solutions.
