About The Position

The Territory Sales Representative role involves managing all aspects of Behr-related business within five or more Home Depot stores in the assigned area. This position is the primary point of contact for Behr in these stores, responsible for sales, relationship-building, merchandising, ordering, and problem-solving to ensure a positive impression of Behr and to help customers improve their work. The role requires a proactive approach to selling, strong relationship-building skills with various stakeholders, and the ability to train others on Behr's product line. Merchandising duties include maintaining product displays and ensuring stock levels, which may involve lifting up to 75 lbs. Ordering necessary materials and point-of-purchase items is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Manage every aspect of Behr-related business in five or more Home Depot stores.
  • Visit assigned stores daily to be the face of Behr.
  • Conduct sales activities and build relationships with Home Depot managers, associates, other Behr reps, professional contractors, and residential customers.
  • Train Home Depot associates, Behr team members, and the public on Behr's product line.
  • Lead classes or demonstrations on product usage.
  • Maintain and merchandise paint chips, brochures, and products to create attractive displays.
  • Ensure paint chip, brochure, and product areas are clean.
  • Order needed materials, including colorants and point-of-purchase items.
  • Monitor inventory levels in stores and order needed materials.
