About The Position

The ideal candidate lives in Virginia, North Carolina, or the surrounding area. This position is a home-based remote sales position and will work with Distribution. The role is responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans, both volume and profit, within an assigned sales territory. This includes securing and maintaining distribution of products and effective agreements. The Territory Sales Manager will have direct one-to-one communication with customers, both present and prospective, perform field promotion work, and develop new accounts. The role involves demonstrating products, providing assistance in their best application, contacting prospects, explaining features and merits of products offered using persuasive sales techniques, and analyzing sales records, trends, and costs. The position is also responsible for closing sales transactions and servicing accounts, managing relationships regarding pricing, product warranty claims, and receivables.

Requirements

  • Must be able to travel frequently (40-50%) including some overnight travel as needed.
  • Demonstrated skills and attributes include initiative, problem solving, negotiation, and persuasive communication skills (written, presentation and verbal).
  • Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to function independently.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • 2-3 years of previous sales experience.
