The Hanover's Personal Lines Sales team is seeking a Territory Sales Manager based in Ohio. This is a full-time, exempt role focused on managing business development within an assigned territory. The role involves partnering with existing agents and appointing new ones to acquire and retain profitable new accounts, while also securing better penetration with winning agents. The Territory Sales Manager will collaborate with management to influence and execute a territory strategy and production plan that addresses product, pricing, and distribution needs to exceed goals in a competitive marketplace. Success in this role hinges on the ability to leverage personal relationships for business outcomes. This includes meeting with agency principals for economic conversations to advance partnerships, and meeting with account managers and agency staff to increase engagement and commitment to The Hanover.
