About The Position

Tropic Supply, Florida's largest independent, family-owned HVAC and refrigeration distributor, is seeking a competitive, self-driven outside sales professional to join their team as an HVAC Sales Consultant. This role focuses on expanding market share, opening new accounts, and strengthening partnerships within Broward County, FL. Requirements

Three to five years of proven B2B sales success with measurable results
Experience selling to contractors, construction trades, or technical buyers
A strong record of new business development and territory growth
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
Knowledge of your local market and contractor landscape
Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

HVAC industry experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Identifying, prospecting, and converting new HVAC contractor accounts
Spending significant time in the field, visiting contractors, job sites, and resource centers
Managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution development, proposals, closing, and follow-up
Building trust with contractor decision-makers and key influencers
Strengthening relationships with existing customers and increasing their business with Tropic Supply
Developing strong product knowledge to prescribe value-driven solutions
Maintaining accurate CRM activity to prioritize high-value opportunities
Collaborating with Resource Center Leaders to ensure exceptional service and support
