About The Position

Würth Wood Group is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager for the Greater Greenville, SC Region. The company, formerly The Hardwood Group, has grown significantly since its founding in 1983 and is now part of the global Würth Group. Würth Wood Group is a premier lumber and woodworking distributor in the Southeast, known for its customer focus, knowledgeable sales team, efficient operations, and broad product range. They offer specialized support from various product specialists and are committed to providing high-quality materials and brands to custom cabinet shops, furniture manufacturers, store fixture companies, millwork fabricators, and casework manufacturers. The Territory Sales Manager will work independently to grow their market, focusing on finding solutions for the company and customers, delivering quality service, and handling current accounts while growing sales and accounts overall. The role requires treating the territory as one's own business and utilizing follow-up skills to make Würth Wood Group the company of choice for customers.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of demonstrated success in outside sales experience, preferably in the woodworking or industrial/distribution arena
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Ideally, we are targeting someone who has sold both building materials and finish products (paint/stain/coatings).
  • Experience selling any of the following products would be considered highly desirable: wood products such as lumber and plywood (sheet goods), cabinetry and cabinetry accessories (hinges, drawer slides, handles), paint/stain/lacquer products, laminate products, fasteners, hand & power tools, and other products related to woodworking/millwork.
