About The Position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for the branch's external sales and revenue objectives for the assigned territory. This role plays a key part in developing, securing, and monitoring clients’ existing and new labor force rental and housing needs, including all industries and sectors involved. The position reports to the General Manager - Quebec & Ottawa.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business and/or construction.
  • Proven account management and competitive sales experience.
  • Ability to function with limited supervision.
  • Proven ability to consistently develop a sales territory.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of Sales Force.
  • Proficiently bilingual in both French and English (verbal and written).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Motivated and proactive with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Self-awareness and seeking feedback to support personal growth.
  • Communicates with clarity, confidence, credibility, and consistency.

  • Proven experience in sales in managing more than one territory.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the sale and rental of new and used ATCO products and services, including market development for ATCO products.
  • Develop an appropriate sales method for each client and product.
  • Secure new sales and leases with new and existing customers within company guidelines and capabilities.
  • Involve in the local community and participate in industry-related events to promote the ATCO brand and build a customer network.
  • Keep up to date on competitors, their products, pricing, and market strategy approaches.
  • Review and recommend changes to ATCO products and services to reflect market needs, including advertising, brochures, and other sales materials.
  • Assist with customer inquiries, sales requests (telephone and external), and follow up on all external sales requests.
  • Manage the assigned geographical territory to ensure maximum penetration.
  • Ensure all projects meet ATCO's margin and revenue guidelines.
  • Prepare and regularly submit updated sales leads in Sales Force.
  • Develop a working knowledge of contract negotiations.
  • Maintain and submit accurate sales/lead documentation in a timely manner.
  • Prepare submissions, liaise with customers, including the ability to create detailed and accurate price request forms (PCRs) outlining the design and specifications required to best meet the customer's needs.
  • Prepare necessary project documentation to properly execute the project according to company procedures.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all ATCO products, including current market pricing to ensure a profitable and competitive position.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction with internal and external customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the regional manager.
