About The Position

County Waste & Recycling is hiring a driven, results-oriented Territory Sales Manager to build and grow a book of business within an assigned territory. This is a field-based role focused on prospecting, relationship building, and closing new business in a competitive, essential service industry. This position offers a $55,000 base salary plus uncapped commission, with strong earning potential for individuals motivated to perform and grow.

Requirements

  • Comfort with prospecting and outbound activity
  • Strong ownership of pipeline and results
  • Consistency, discipline, and follow-through
  • Ability to manage time and territory independently
  • Experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (B2B preferred)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, and in-person visits
  • Build and manage a consistent, active sales pipeline
  • Conduct site evaluations and present tailored waste and recycling solutions
  • Negotiate and close service agreements
  • Partner with operations and customer service to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and account data in Salesforce
