About The Position

Q’Apel Medical is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager with a strong background in Neurovascular Medical Devices, Neurointerventional, Endovascular Neurosurgery, Coronary, or Peripheral Medical devices. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant industry experience, established relationships within the neurovascular space, and a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships in the Neurovascular/Neuro-Interventional device community. This role involves working closely with healthcare and physician customers to meet sales objectives, developing customer relationships for retention and loyalty, providing technical and case support, and achieving quarterly sales quotas. The Territory Sales Manager will implement sales strategies to optimize sales and growth within their assigned territory, uncover new sales opportunities, educate physicians, and train customers on Q’Apel Medical products. The role requires technical and clinical excellence, along with effective communication skills.

Requirements

  • 5 years minimum experience working in a regulated industry (medical device sales experience is required in the Neurovascular Devices Industry, Neurointerventional, Endovascular Neurosurgery, Neurointerventional, Coronary or Peripheral Medical Device sectors to be considered)
  • Familiarity with FDA Quality System Regulations, Medical Device Regulations, and ISO 13485
  • Demonstrated sales success year over year
  • Technical aptitude and clinical expertise with the ability to become an expert on our product line
  • Knowledge of customer service practices and expectations of Hospital and Physician customers
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Passion for improving the healthcare industry and ensuring successful patient outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
  • Self-motivated, result-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker who can translate insights into actionable growth plans
  • Comfortable traveling and spending significant time in the field (physician offices, hospitals, labs)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Developing strong customer relationships
  • Interventional case coverage and clinical expertise
  • Driving existing business and uncovering new opportunities
  • Achieving quarterly sales quota
  • Promoting customer retention and loyalty
  • Establishing onboarding of new customers and supporting the VAC process
  • Providing monthly reports to DOS to track progress towards key objectives
  • Monitoring current market trends and customer needs
  • Monitoring usage for each account
  • Preparing account profiles for company accounts
  • Identifying and creating strong, loyal relationships with all decision-makers
  • Completing management reports on time
  • Driving company KPIs and business plan
  • Being aware of all competitive activities within major accounts
  • Providing physical education and training on the features, benefits, and clinical applications of Q'apel's products
  • Supporting clinical staff and physicians during interventional procedures as needed
  • Serving as a trusted partner to customers, helping them understand product value, supporting adoption, and fostering long-term relationships
  • Maintaining strong technical and clinical knowledge of neurovascular interventions and effectively communicating that knowledge to customers/clients
  • Collaborating with internal teams (Marketing, Clinical, R&D, etc.) to align sales tactics with company objectives
