About The Position

Techniweld USA/ORS Nasco is a state-of-the-art wholesaler and manufacturer of welding, safety, and industrial supplies. From exotic alloys to traditional everyday consumables, Techniweld USA/ORS Nasco supplies a broad spectrum of products, specializing in products related to mig, tig, plasma, oxy-fuel, and stick welding styles. JOB PURPOSE Our Territory Sales Manager is a front-line customer contact function responsible for generating leads and driving sales from new and existing customers. The Territory Sales Manager’s responsibilities include regularly visiting distributors, making joint end-user calls with distributors, submitting regular sales reports to management, informing potential and existing customers of product features and benefits, and resolving customer complaints. You should also be able to create as well as present persuasive sales proposals to customers to encourage sales and repeat business. An exceptional Territory Sales Manager should be able to demonstrate effective communication, negotiation, and customer service skills to continually meet or exceed sales targets. Territory Sales Managers work as ambassadors and are responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers based on their assigned territory. They must build trust and act as support for prospects, ensuring they lead to potential future sales.

Requirements

  • Proven outside sales experience is required
  • Industrial sales experience is required
  • Knowledge of welding supplies and industrial products is required
  • Friendly, outgoing, organized, and pay attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative sales skills
  • Self-starter
  • Detail oriented
  • Willing to work independently
  • Always team focused
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 75% travel overnight

Responsibilities

  • Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
  • Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
  • Continually meet or exceed sales targets with new and existing customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
  • Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
  • Sell the company's products or services to customers within your given territory
  • Monitor the company's industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs
  • Work closely with marketing department to help build the brand
  • Assist customers with the resolution of problems
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Be knowledgeable of product lines and descriptions
  • Work closely and communicate regularly with salesperson assigned to your customers
