JOB PURPOSE Our Territory Sales Manager is a front-line customer contact function responsible for generating leads and driving sales from new and existing customers. The Territory Sales Manager’s responsibilities include regularly visiting distributors, making joint end-user calls with distributors, submitting regular sales reports to management, informing potential and existing customers of product features and benefits, and resolving customer complaints. You should also be able to create as well as present persuasive sales proposals to customers to encourage sales and repeat business. An exceptional Territory Sales Manager should be able to demonstrate effective communication, negotiation, and customer service skills to continually meet or exceed sales targets. Territory Sales Managers work as ambassadors and are responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers based on their assigned territory. They must build trust and act as support for prospects, ensuring they lead to potential future sales.
