About The Position

Orbitalum North America is seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team in the Pacific Northwest. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and managing complex, high-value sales cycles. The ideal candidate will excel at value-based selling, staying ahead of industry trends to proactively address customer needs and outperform the competition. The territory will cover Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of five years in a successful outside sales role, preferably in industrial or technical sales.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of GTAW (TIG) welding.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs for product demonstrations.
  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively, often exceeding 75% of the month.

Nice To Haves

  • Orbital welding experience preferred.
  • Machining background or mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Provide product demonstrations and application-based solutions to customers.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and enter data into CRM software.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, product management, and leadership, to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Understand equipment capabilities to recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Comply with state and federal regulations, quality standards, and safety procedures.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
  • Manage multiple, complex sales opportunities and projects simultaneously.
