About The Position

The ideal candidate lives in Utah or Colorado. This position is a home-based remote sales position and is responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans, both volume and profit, within an assigned sales territory. The role involves securing and maintaining distribution of products and maintaining effective agreements. The Territory Sales Manager will have direct one-to-one communication with customers, both present and prospective, and will perform field promotion work and development of new accounts. This includes demonstrating products, providing assistance in their best application, and contacting prospects to explain features and merits using persuasive sales techniques. The role requires analyzing records of present and past sales, trends, and costs, as well as interpreting accounts, trends, and records for management. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for closing sales transactions and servicing accounts, managing relationships regarding pricing, product warranty claims, and receivables. A significant portion of time (60%) will be spent in the market developing, training, and managing brokers to meet the Objective Sales Plan.

Requirements

  • Must be able to travel frequently (30-35%) including some overnight travel as needed.
  • Demonstrated skills and attributes include initiative, problem solving, negotiation, and persuasive communication skills (written, presentation and verbal).
  • Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to function independently.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • 2-3 years of previous sales experience.

  • Relevant industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving sales goals and executing sales plans, both volume and profit, within assigned sales territory.

  • Spending 60% of time in market developing, training and managing brokers to the Objective Sales Plan.
