About The Position

This is a new opportunity to establish and grow a market for Agi Sentinel Buildings. We are seeking a candidate who is skilled in prospecting and capable of identifying and developing new business within the assigned territory. You will be representing an established building company that is a member of MBMA and is accredited per IAS AC472 standards. We have been producing quality buildings since 1987 and have earned a solid reputation and loyal customer base built on rock solid products and people.

Requirements

  • Possess sales and business acumen, ideally coupled with a background in construction, preference given to experience in pre-engineered metal buildings or related degree, or equivalent commensurate experience.
  • Have two to four years of demonstrated sales or customer service achievements preferably in the construction Industry.
  • Proven experience in building and managing a dealer network, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Solid sales and marketing capabilities, with a good understanding of market segmentation.
  • Regular travel across the defined territory required with occasional extensive travel for sales meetings, national trade shows and other events.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MBS (Metal Building Software) is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Identify and recruit new dealers within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to dealers and end users.
  • Provide training and support to dealers on product features, benefits, and sales strategies.
  • Assist in developing solutions that best address the needs of our customers
  • Effectively manage a territory and maximize business potential.
  • Drive new customer business through networking, referrals, cold calling, and trade shows.
  • Develop detailed quote requests for contractors to insure accurate cost estimating.
  • Work with internal departments to solve problems and develop solutions for customer accounts.
  • Strategize with management to locate and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Develop strategies and provide feedback to ensure we remain competitive in the market.
  • Execute sales strategy within territory to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
  • Build relationships with customer decision makers and provide extraordinary customer service.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across AGI’s other brands & product offerings to advocate AGI to all customers.
