About The Position

To contribute to the profitable operation, development, and growth of REMET PIC, Inc. by managing territorial sales and providing technical support for the Company’s Precision Investment Casting (PIC) SBU (Strategic Business Unit). This position is responsible for achieving and exceeding territory growth targets for sales and profitability along with the marketing and enhancement of the professionalism and image of REMET in the PIC marketplace.

Requirements

  • This position requires a minimum of three years direct selling experience as well as three to five years of combined technical, operational and sales experience in the PIC marketplace or a very similarly related technical field.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a business or technical related field is required
  • This position requires the candidate to possess a valid driver license, proper insurance and allow their MVR to be pulled annually.
  • Job holder must possess strong interpersonal skills along with excellent communication, organizational and time management skills and the ability to sell and market in a highly competitive industry and marketplace.
  • Individual must be able read and write in English.
  • Employees in this role must be able to count and perform mathematical calculations.

Nice To Haves

  • a master’s degree or an MBA in a technical discipline or equivalent business training is highly desired.
  • Having some direct operational or technical foundry experience is highly preferred and desired.

Responsibilities

  • To achieve or exceed the budgeted sales volume and profitability targets for the territory in accordance with the annual sales and marketing plan.
  • Ensure future sales growth by directing sales proposals to new accounts and by promoting REMET products to the PIC marketplace.
  • Where account or territory responsibility may be shared with the Director of Sales & Marketing, the position will have the primary responsibility for all wax, shell binder, refractory, specialty products and other non-PIC related products. The position must coordinate all sales and support efforts with the Director of Sales & Marketing as well as the Product Managers.
  • Provide technical application information, support and product recommendations to customers and prospective customers where applicable to ensure their satisfaction and to further promote sales growth.
  • Maintain high productivity level through proper planning, forecasting and management of sales and service activities in addition to effective time management of customer and territory requirements to maximize sales.
  • Maintain timely and accurate reporting requirements regarding product performance, sales activities, SWOT analysis, sales forecasts, industry trends, competitor intel, account analysis and assistance with Management in making informed strategic decisions in accordance with sales and growth targets and objectives.
  • Maintain timely and accurate reporting and accounting of all job-related expenses (e.g., travel, lodging, entertainment, etc.) in accordance with the Company travel and expense reimbursement policies.
  • Maintain high standards of business ethics and professionalism to enhance REMET’s image as a leader in the PIC marketplace.
  • Where necessary, assist all Sales and Technical team personnel to provide strategic product, technical and/or marketing information to aid in effectively performing their job functions.
  • Perform special projects as assigned by the Sales Management Team as well as all Corporate Management Team.
  • Follow all applicable ISO 9001 procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the documented Quality System as well as adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
