As a Territory Sales Manager II, you will drive sales of products and services to achieve revenue, volume, and growth objectives within an assigned territory. This role is responsible for expanding business across the Temposonics sensor market through both channel partners and direct sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building and business development skills, with bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish highly preferred. The territory includes international (Latin America) and some domestic customers. It is remote and ideally the candidate would reside in the state of Texas.

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering or 8 years relevant technical / commercial experience in a global organization.
• 5–10 years of progressive sales experience, preferably within industrial automation, fluid power, or related technical industries.
• Demonstrated experience in technical consultative selling, with the ability to identify customer needs and develop value-driven solutions.
• Proven track record of problem-solving, negotiation, and closing complex sales opportunities.
• Experience managing strategic accounts and distribution channels, including identifying, evaluating, recruiting, and developing channel partners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and compliance requirements within the assigned region.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends, evaluate account performance, and identify growth opportunities.
• Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM applications for administrative sales use.

Nice To Haves

• Portuguese language proficiency is a plus.
• International business experience and cross-cultural awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and recommends plans, practices, goals and objectives for the region’s selling activities to expand market share in existing markets and to capture new markets.
• Establishes the region’s plan for achieving revenue targets and delivers to that plan.
• Forecasts future region business for each fiscal year, and updates the forecast periodically, as required.
• Manage, develop, and recruit channel partners in assigned territory that are capable of achieving the appropriate coverage to meet market penetration, retention, conversion, customer service, and revenue targets.
• Assess channel partner effectiveness and provide coaching, training, and mentoring to maximize effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge on the markets the channel partners serve and be informed on current trends.
• Monitors competitive activity and initiatives for accounts in assigned territory, ensuring that Temposonics marketing is fully aware of competitor intentions and actions that threaten Temposonics market share.
• Use this knowledge to identify specific channel requirements and customer needs.
• Performs sales calls with channel partners/customers promoting Temposonics’ product offering and assessing the technical and application requirements of the customer.
• Make product recommendations, assess the need for factory involvement, and ensure the appropriate level of support that is required.
• Maintains insight into partner activity and uses information to keep current an opportunity pipeline for assigned territory.
• Coordinate and provide training for channel partners though on-site and web-based training, meetings and other tools.
• Training would include new products, new solutions, new applications and general understanding of Temposonics technology and capabilities.
• Identify and grow OEM accounts that are in assigned region that require direct manufacturer support.
• Work with sales manager to develop a reasonable budget for assigned territory.
• Manage the assigned territory in an organized manner so that efficient use of travel time and travel dollar is achieved.
• Provide regular management reports and updates on the account and/or market situation.
• Keep supervisor informed of progress against targets, and any potential issues within assigned accounts.
• Includes managing sales activities by utilizing Salesforce.com
• Knows and applies the division’s quality policy and procedures of ISO 9001 as it relates to area of responsibility and the organization.
• Follows all standard-operating procedures as prescribed and notifies appropriate personnel of any non-conformance.
