Requirements

  • Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in relevant work experience
  • 5+ years elevator industry experience
  • Prior experience leading a team in a technical environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft-based computer software
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Drive accountability within designated territory to ensure process compliance
  • Ensure effective cost management across all districts focusing on labor, material, and expense management.
  • Take an active leadership role in the overall safety culture of the territory with regards to both employee and public safety by partnering closely with Territory FQE/Safety leadership (Job Quality/Safety site activities, Safety Committee engagement)..
  • Conduct Maintenance Quality Walks to measure the quality of maintenance performed and provide coaching and support to technicians.
  • Mentor EI Field Superintendents and technicians to ensure proper training and development of talent within the territory.
  • Develop and implement service management strategies with a strong emphasis on fulfillment, operational excellence, efficiency improvement and route planning.
  • Champion connectivity efforts by becoming a Schindler Ahead product expert and holding territory accountable for proactively connecting the portfolio.
  • Provide expert technical knowledge for all projects requiring additional oversight or intervention.
  • Facilitate the integration of new systems (SHAPE) within Territory.
  • Onboard and train new EI Field Superintendents; responsible for ongoing development & training for EI Field Superintendents and technicians.
  • Meet or Exceed KPI's
