About The Position

Tandem Diabetes Care is seeking a Territory Manager to join their team. This field-based role, located in Louisville, KY, involves working with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist to introduce innovative insulin pump therapy to patients and healthcare providers. The Territory Manager will be responsible for meeting sales goals through strategic business planning, customer identification, territory growth, relationship building, and providing product education and support. The company emphasizes a human-centered approach and a commitment to improving the lives of people with diabetes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) plus 3+ years of industry sales experience, preferably in diabetes, endocrinology, insulin infusion pumps, or managed care.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% within your territory; valid driver’s license, insurance, and good driving record required.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving market.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth by creating and executing smart territory plans.
  • Spot opportunities, open doors, and build lasting partnerships with healthcare professionals (MDs, DOs, RNs, CDEs, RPhs, etc.) to create value.
  • Leverage advanced sales methodologies—including the Challenger Selling Model and Strategic Account Management—along with strong communication and collaboration skills to demonstrate value and accelerate revenue growth.
  • Deliver product education and ongoing support to providers, patients, and clinical educators.
  • Represent Tandem at events, conventions, and community outreach.
  • Keep your territory organized with accurate CRM tracking and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales and customer experiences.
  • Ensure work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.
