About The Position

Under the general direction of the Sales Manager, this role involves managing sales in a specified region, providing support to the dealer base, and growing market share in the primary market area of Upstate New York and Eastern Pennsylvania. The position requires developing relationships with dealers, identifying and pursuing new opportunities, and providing comprehensive sales and service support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Four-year business degree, or equivalent combination education and work experience in sales and/or building materials.
  • Knowledge of residential construction practices and building materials.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to establish strong business and appropriate personal relationships with business partners.
  • Excellent skills in three-dimensional thinking, problem solving and negotiation.
  • Working knowledge of modern office procedures, practices and equipment, including the use of computers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the fenestration industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with dealers through support and being a resource for the client.
  • Identify, seek out and pursue new opportunities (dealers, contractors, private, public, commercial).
  • Provide pre-sales, post-sales and service support.
  • Conduct dealer education and development.
  • Resolve product-expectation and service-perception issues.
  • Participate in corporate sales meetings.
