Territory Manager - Lower Mainland

About The Position

This position is responsible for helping us achieve our vision of being the preferred wholesaler in the Lower Mainland. You will be involved in all aspects of the business, including operations, warehousing, procurement, sales, human resources, marketing, finance, and strategic planning. We are looking for someone who can harness the power of our talented team and help them maximize their potential.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driver’s abstract
Must be able to travel within the Lower Mainland region regularly and outside the region as required
Minimum of 5 years of wholesale industry experience
Ability to think strategically, turn the strategy into action, and own the result
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Above-average analytical skills
An understanding of existing business processes
Hands-on, willing to get into the details.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with the existing team to develop a strategic plan for the territory and execute that plan
Inspire, lead, develop, and manage a large team
Open new locations in the territory
Manage the operational processes in the region
Develop and maintain regional relationships with key customers, industry groups, and supplier partners
Ensure we are exceeding our customers’ expectations
Meet financial targets for the territory
Participate in corporate-level initiatives
Work alongside the support teams at Head Office (HR, IT, AC, MK etc.)
Actively promote & monitor safe work environments and practices
