Every day, Nors strives to meet market needs with excellent solutions, equipment, and services. This role is for a Territory Manager to join the Sales team in Saint-Augustin. The mission of Territory Managers is to develop and manage a portfolio of clients in a determined geographical territory. They collaborate with different departments of the company to increase sales of new and used construction equipment. They maintain client relationships and ensure their needs are met.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills combined with extensive experience in all aspects of computer systems (IT), hardware, and software.
  • Ability to plan and implement advanced technological and business solutions while maintaining a focus on financial results.
  • Excellent knowledge of Volvo products and the ability to promote their quality to clients.
  • Post-secondary diploma and/or relevant professional experience in sales.
  • Familiarize with and comply with legal requirements for health and safety at work as stipulated by the Act respecting occupational health and safety and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Nors products to increase company sales.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients through site visits and prospecting.
  • Provide timely monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts for their territory.
  • Gather necessary information to evaluate trade-in equipment to ensure adequate estimation based on market conditions and resale value.
  • Prepare preliminary cost spreadsheets before closing new transactions to ensure fair and accurate pricing based on client needs, inventory levels, equipment availability, and competitor pricing.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and various departments to ensure smooth transaction processing and completion.
  • Participate in Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to meet client needs for equipment, services, and parts.
  • Update client information in the CRM system to ensure smooth communication between the client and various company departments.
  • Follow up on shipments (sales/deliveries) and clients to ensure equipment is delivered within the planned timeframe.
  • Develop and maintain lasting relationships with clients to foster future sales and services.
