About The Position

Brandt has an opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join our Pakenham Sales team. As a Sales Consultant, you will bring expertise and responsiveness to the table every day on a team dedicated to world-class customer service and solutions. This career opportunity offers earnings potential along with exposure for career advancement. You will represent the company for the sale of equipment to customers within a geographic area. You will maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership, implement and maintain regular call cycles within a given area of responsibility, and monitor trends in customer business and competitors’ activity/products. You will maintain all customer information in your assigned territory for sales management and achieve sales objectives set by Brandt as part of the sales planning process, including but not limited to market share. You will also assist with the preparation and execution of customer events, conduct new equipment field demonstrations, and maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods. Additionally, you will attend applicable sales training events/seminars, provide timely communication of trends, activity, sales reports, etc. to Management, and maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and the ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.

Requirements

  • The ability to grow sales within a specified sale territory.

  • A strong communicator with the skill to effectively influence others.
  • Ability to build and maintain long term relationships.

Nice To Haves

  • Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the company for the sale of equipment to customers within a geographic area
