About The Position

Our client is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Territory Manager to lead sales growth and business development within an assigned geographic territory. This is a field-based opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships, developing new business, and serving as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals. The Territory Manager will be responsible for growing existing accounts, identifying new opportunities, and educating customers on innovative dental and clinical solutions. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, consultative in their sales approach, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of sales experience in a high-growth corporate environment.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Ability to maintain required auto insurance coverage.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in medical device, dental, healthcare, or other clinical sales.
  • Previous experience selling directly to dentists, physicians, surgeons, or other healthcare professionals.
  • Experience managing a geographic sales territory with responsibility for meeting sales quotas.
  • Proven success in prospecting, new business development, and account growth.
  • Consultative selling experience; familiarity with the Challenger Sales methodology or similar approaches is a plus.
  • Strong presentation and public-speaking skills.
  • Ability to learn and confidently communicate technical, clinical, and scientific information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory while achieving established revenue and sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dentists, periodontists, prosthodontists, oral surgeons, dental laboratories, and other dental professionals.
  • Develop existing customer accounts while proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities.
  • Prospect for new customers through territory planning, networking, referrals, events, and direct outreach.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions based on their clinical and business objectives.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, trainings, and educational programs for dental professionals.
  • Participate in dental study clubs, industry events, conferences, and other educational activities to strengthen relationships and generate new business.
  • Stay current on industry trends, clinical research, and product applications in order to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
  • Partner with internal marketing and product teams to support product launches and sales initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales activity information within CRM and other sales tools.
  • Analyze territory performance, identify opportunities for growth, and adjust sales strategies based on market conditions and customer needs.
  • Communicate complex clinical and technical information clearly and confidently to both individuals and groups.
  • Take ownership of the territory's sales pipeline, customer relationships, and overall business development.
