About The Position

This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of inside/outside sales and customer service.
  • Dependability, effective organizational skills, and attention to detail are critical traits.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and complete objectives without constant supervision.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and leadership skills to recognize problems, analyze them, resolve them or make recommendations to management to resolve them.
  • A strong interpersonal communication style and willingness and desire to serve customers.
  • Proficient in SAP, QOE, Engage and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Word).
  • Familiar with a variety of sales techniques, practices and procedures.
  • Have a solid working knowledge of the products we sell and the sporting goods industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years Inside Telesales and/or Customer Service is preferred but not required.
  • Have a willingness and desire to serve others and be a great support to your partners in the field.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Experience with a CRM preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for the division.
  • Manage and respond to all customer inquiries via phone, email, and web channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee all customer service functions, including preparing quotes, processing returns, providing product information, and maintaining customer accounts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order processing by monitoring order flow and resolving issues such as credit holds and incomplete orders through regular reporting.
  • Support customer data collection efforts by maintaining and expanding email contact lists to enhance marketing initiatives and customer engagement.
  • Assist in managing divisional gross margins and freight expenses to support overall financial performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to facilitate credit processing and resolve customer issues.
  • Partner with and support fellow Territory Managers to drive overall divisional success and achieve shared objectives.
  • Backup fellow Territory managers when they are out of office.
