About The Position

Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Manufacturing, is seeking a Territory Manager to partner with and support our Dealers to promote and sell Land Pride agricultural equipment and landscaping products. This territory covers Kansas. The successful candidate must live within the prescribed territory. Extensive travel, including some overnight, throughout Kansas is required.

Requirements

  • Residence within the assigned sales territory is required.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Willing and able to travel extensively, including overnight stays several nights per week.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Committed to producing high-quality work in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other business software applications.
  • Able to calculate discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, and related figures.
  • Demonstrates developing leadership skills, including providing feedback and recognizing others.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

  • 2–3 years of implement, attachment, agricultural equipment, or construction equipment sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer principals, sales teams, parts managers, and service managers to communicate product updates, programs, service information, parts promotions, and general company information.
  • Conduct retail calls with dealer personnel to support product sales and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Develop and deliver sales training programs for dealership sales personnel.
  • Promote and participate in product demonstrations, field days, open houses, and other dealer events.
  • Sell products and write orders to ensure dealers have appropriate inventory before and during key selling seasons.
  • Recruit new dealers, replace inactive dealers, identify dealer development needs, and initiate plans to achieve growth objectives.
  • Manage dealer inventory control and inventory reporting.
  • Monitor regional product demand and share market insights to support sales planning.
  • Perform account collection activities as needed.
  • Attend annual sales meetings to stay current on products, programs, and professional development opportunities.
  • Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
