Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2 or more years of proven success in Sales is required, preferably within the Women’s Health Industry.
  • Demonstrated human relations and communication skills.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical device sales experience preferred.
  • Product knowledge and all features and benefits of BD Women’s Health products preferred.
  • Surgical procedure knowledge, adequate to illustrate our product benefits.
  • Basic anatomy.
  • Medical and surgical terminology.
  • Thorough understanding of needs/analysis selling.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Represent BD Peripheral Intervention in the Women’s Health setting and take necessary action to attain sales objectives.
  • Sell the entire Women’s Health Biopsy portfolio to current and new accounts.
  • Establish solid, working relationships with key customers at strategic accounts to create market share conversion.
  • Conduct successful product evaluations to increase BD’s market share.
  • Inform customers of new and current pricing, backorders, and company policies.
  • Deliver comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals.
  • Conduct business reviews quarterly with department managers, purchasing and procurement.
  • Collaborate with Territory Manager to drive impact through relationships.
  • Plan sales calls on a continuous basis, managing sales time effectively.
  • Develop thorough knowledge of all products and clinical data.
  • Inform District Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity.
  • Achieve prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints.
  • Analyze customer needs and create solutions.
  • Maintain company automobile and company property.
  • Complete and process BD Peripheral Intervention reports including but not limited to: sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, account targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established procedures and policies.
