About The Position

Frederick Block Brick & Stone, a partner of Heritage Landscape Supply, has an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager/Outside Sales expert in the Hardscape/Masonry industry. This role is for an ambitious self-starter passionate about building meaningful business relationships. The Territory Manager will develop and expand their territory, working closely with inside sales support and vendors to promote products and services. The position focuses on creating lasting connections with repeat customers and leveraging relationship-selling skills to build a robust pipeline of business and increase income potential.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in selling Hardscape/Masonry products in a B2B environment, managing a multi-million-dollar territory
  • Demonstrated ability to grow your territory year-over-year
  • Passion for empowering our customers with the tools and products needed to boost their sales and earnings
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Self-starter who embraces our "Make Money and Have Fun!" culture
  • Able to pass a criminal/driving background check and pre-employment drug test
  • 2+ years in architectural/construction product sales of brick, CMU block and stone
  • Experience winning spec-driven projects
  • Strong ability to read architectural & structural drawings
  • Knowledge of building codes, load-bearing systems, or structural products

Responsibilities

  • Establish and cultivate new and existing customer relationships
  • Develop new business opportunities in the local Hardscape/Masonry industry market
  • Drive Product specifications with architects and landscape architects
  • Collaborate with our inside sales support team and vendors to promote products and services
  • Learning and promoting new products
  • Working with vendors on sales promotions and programs in the marketplace
  • Create and execute a detailed annual sales plan
  • Drive product specifications with architects
  • Review drawings and develop custom system solutions
  • Follow and manage projects through design → bid → award (12–24 month cycles)
  • Build relationships across architects, GCs, and subcontractors
