About The Position

As a Territory Manager within Baxter's Infusion Therapies and Platform team, you will represent Baxter and its products in the Texas and New Mexico market. You will serve as the primary connection to healthcare professionals who rely on Baxter's solutions, acting as the face and voice of the company's portfolio. This role emphasizes collaboration and the importance of insights and feedback to drive business results and meaningful change. You will promote the Medication Delivery, Pharma, and Nutrition portfolio with primary call points including Materials Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, Risk Management, and other hospital departments. The ideal candidate takes personal accountability for achieving results and excels at all stages of the customer's buying process, becoming a subject matter expert in the medication delivery portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Three years of medical/hospital sales experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to support effective sales strategies.
  • Willingness to travel to both remote and urban locations, independently or with other personnel.
  • Proven sales performance, a strong team orientation, and solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quotas across a diverse portfolio including Baxter’s Pharma, Access, Drug Delivery, Nutrition, and Fluid Therapy products.
  • Implement sales strategies and execute business plans to deliver on volume, product mix, and profit objectives.
  • Call on acute-care hospital customers; deliver effective presentations; and provide product information, demonstrations, and education.
  • Partner closely with Infusion Systems and the broader Baxter team to meet goals and objectives.
  • Protect, service, and grow the existing customer base.
  • Manage and optimize Baxter’s GPO contracts.
  • Serve as a resource for market information to management and marketing teams.
