The Elizabeth, NJ territory includes Morristown, Union, Iselin, Union City, Jersey City, Bayonne, and Staten Island. This role will make an impact by meeting and exceeding corporate sales objectives at the territory level, developing and maintaining strong working partnerships with targeted ECP accounts, and representing the vision & culture of Viatris to the Eye Care community. The Territory Manager will leverage expertise of disease state knowledge, the marketplace, and industry and business trends to effectively manage and pull-through business opportunities. They will deliver MLR approved, education-focused and patient-centric messages, as well as appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts, while achieving business goals on a quarterly & annual basis. The role involves driving territory performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards, working collaboratively with internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients, and providing customer insights and feedback on strategic initiatives. The Territory Manager will effectively utilize territory business planning tools and approved resources to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities, while complying with all legal, regulatory, and compliance policies with integrity and professionalism.

Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required.
Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical, medical or related sales experience preferred with a proven and successful track record in all aspects of technical knowledge, selling techniques, and comprehensive understanding of medical terminology.
However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
Must live within geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
Must have valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
Ability to travel required.
Depending on the territory, overnight travel may be needed.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

Nice To Haves

Eye care experience preferred but not required.
