The Account Executive is responsible for profitability, growth and account penetration within the assigned territory and/or market segment. This position is responsible for identifying and targeting opportunities across existing and new prospects, partnering with other business units to expand cross-sell opportunities, and leading account planning and opportunity planning sessions. The role involves maintaining and growing file value, serving as the principal financial sales representative, and ensuring the highest level of customer service and support to NCR Atleos major accounts. It also includes demand creation for NCR Atleos Self Service, Branch Transformation, Consulting, and SaaS solutions and prospects for existing and new accounts within an assigned territory or geography, and providing subject matter expertise and support for all Solutions sales campaigns into targeted accounts. The Account Executive is responsible for customer relationships, ensuring all customer requirements are identified and met, driving volume and growth into user accounts. They act as the key interface or liaison between the customer, sales support teams, the factory, product management, and other internal resources regarding sales and services issues for current customers. The position requires strong relationship management and carries the responsibility for the customer's satisfaction with NCR Atleos. The individual will ensure that key customer accounts continue to thrive in a partnership with NCR Atleos and is responsible for any prospect opportunity within their assigned account base to advance business opportunities for new solutions as identified by the region. This includes scheduling and conducting regular customer meetings to discuss customer-specific issues, review performance/value, ongoing projects and rollouts, and to position new solutions, and ensure all outstanding invoices are current. The role requires continually seeking to build and enhance enduring relationships with key customer interfaces while working to achieve a thorough understanding of the customer's requirements and addressing customer issues, escalating them as necessary to the appropriate internal parties to drive them toward resolution. The Account Executive will continually fill the pipeline with qualified opportunities and execute winning sales campaigns to deliver quarter-on-quarter growth from those opportunities. They will obtain customer or industry information to assist in responding to customer's needs and requirements, capitalize on industry knowledge and customer contacts to uncover future business opportunities, and respond to competitive threats to maximize customer retention rate. Understanding the formal and informal decision-making process within each account is crucial. The role involves effectively advising and influencing customers through consultative selling techniques and creating an internal network of relationships with peers, management, and internal sales support groups to provide value-added solutions and best-in-class service for the customer. The Account Executive has primary accountability for ensuring assigned accounts are properly serviced by NCR Atleos in a manner that reflects the company's commitment to delivering high-quality products and services. They will ensure each account has an account plan that is being managed and executed effectively, track growth/decline within accounts, and manage the day-to-day operations associated with servicing a major account. Strategically designing a plan to effectively manage their territory to maximize incoming revenue and profits to meet annual quota objectives, tracking the sales process through monthly forecast submissions for assigned accounts to quantify and qualify opportunities where NCR Atleos is best positioned to win, and assisting in the development of an account plan to ensure mutual objectives of the NCR Atleos/Customer relationship are realized are key responsibilities. Building customer commitment to accelerate activity through the sales cycle is also important. The position requires the ability to describe how NCR Atleos products and services relate to the customer's current industry position, identify major competitors in the account, assess their strengths and weaknesses relative to NCR Atleos, and position NCR Atleos as a single source provider offering additional solutions and services to maximize revenue and profitable growth. Applying presentation and consultative selling skills to deliver sales presentations at senior/executive levels, incorporating a thorough understanding of industry trends and issues into sales presentations, and partnering with other business units to expand cross-sell opportunities are essential. Identifying and targeting opportunities across existing and new prospects, utilizing team members including post-sale delivery professionals, pre-sale technical professionals, and management to achieve business objectives, and relying on excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to initiate and maintain executive-level interaction and customer satisfaction are also key aspects of the role. Closing profitable NCR Atleos Solution deals incorporating hardware, software, professional services, and customer services, managing the sales portfolio with a revenue focus, and screening, categorizing, and resolving data integrity issues are also part of the responsibilities.
