In this position, you will get to drive specifications of Chemelex products and services at owner accounts. You will be pursuing and securing projects that involve any combination of product supply, engineering, and construction services. Customers include, but are not limited to, end users, engineering firms, and OEMs. You will track project opportunities and manage customers in CRM system and establish a winning strategy resulting in project awards. This role requires coordination with proposal/estimating groups, engineering, project management, and construction teams. Vigorous self-initiated sales call activity is required. Some regional travel is required, with primary sales activity in the Southeast Texas region and periodic travel to the Houston home office. Chemelex will provide training for all new hires which may include formal training modules and/or mentorship through on-the-job training.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in or with SalesForce or comparable CRM tool
  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ideally 10 + years of previous experience in or with Technical or Industrial sales

Responsibilities
