Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Progressive experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales and account management.
  • A strong track record of results, with a clear customer and patient focus.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic account planning skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Experience navigating sophisticated customer systems and processes, including institutional decision-making and access/formulary dynamics where applicable.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel by car or plane up to 80% of the time.
  • Overnight travel (approximately 10–30%) may be required.
  • Ability to meet customer credentialing requirements, including background screening, training, and vaccination requirements, as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Build strategic customer partnerships with key decision-makers and healthcare stakeholders across target accounts.
  • Navigate complex health systems by engaging clinical, administrative, pharmacy, formulary, and protocol stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute account plans that reflect customer priorities, institutional dynamics, access considerations, and business opportunities.
  • Identify barriers and unlock solutions that support appropriate patient identification, access, and long-term account growth.
  • Bring product and clinical expertise to customer conversations using approved messaging and compliant engagement practices.
  • Support access and formulary efforts by delivering value-based messaging and collaborating with internal partners on pull-through strategies.
  • Drive strong business performance through disciplined planning, execution, forecasting, and follow-through.
  • Collaborate across teams while modeling the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and compliance.
