About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Territory Account Manager at our rental facility in NW San Antonio, TX. This role is responsible for expanding our existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals. The Territory Account Manager will execute the full sales strategy for a geographical area, including market analysis, sales forecasting, pipeline management, revenue growth, contract negotiation, and customer retention. They will also respond to inbound leads, develop new business, maintain existing customer relationships, and support job site activities. EquipmentShare aims to transform the construction industry through innovative technology and exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Superior outside sales experience and skills with a proven sales track record.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical aptitude to adapt to the fast pace of a growing company and stay continuously educated on the latest EquipmentShare products and services.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven, but thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.
  • Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Heavy Construction Equipment or Industry knowledge (rental or construction) with experience in B2B sales is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Territory management of a geographical area, including market analysis, sales forecasting, pipeline management, revenue growth, contract negotiation, and customer retention.
  • Quickly respond to inbound leads and requests.
  • New business development and client acquisition/account development by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals.
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and inform them of new solutions.
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, or other communications.
  • Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience.
  • Manage and support job site activities and projects with remote and on-site involvement.
  • Assist with equipment rental, sales, and service when needed by customers on-site.
