About The Position

The Terrain Park Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable terrain park experience for guests. This position monitors park activity, educates guests on terrain park safety and etiquette, assists with terrain feature inspections, and helps maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the terrain park. The attendant serves as a positive ambassador for the resort while promoting a culture of safety and progression. Come work and play in the mountains! Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age (or as required by resort policy).
  • Intermediate or higher skiing or snowboarding ability.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and peak periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in terrain park operations or snow sports industry.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of terrain park features and progression principles.
  • Experience with guest service or outdoor recreation operations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor terrain park areas to promote safe guest behavior and adherence to resort policies.
  • Educate guests on the Terrain Park Responsibility Code and Smart Style principles.
  • Assist with opening, inspecting, and closing terrain park features daily.
  • Report hazards, damage, maintenance concerns, incidents, and unsafe conditions to supervisors.
  • Maintain fencing, signage, ropes, banners, and park boundaries.
  • Perform light maintenance, snow work, and feature upkeep as directed.
  • Communicate park conditions, closures, and operational updates to guests and team members.
  • Respond appropriately to accidents and emergencies according to resort procedures.
  • Assist with special events, competitions, camps, and promotional activities.
  • Keep park entrances, exits, and work areas clean and professional in appearance.
  • Interact positively with guests, providing excellent customer service and answering questions.
  • Support the Terrain Park Crew and other Mountain Operations departments as needed.
