About The Position

Terrain is looking for a Design Services Intern from DVU to join us for the summer. This intern will work in collaboration with the Design Services team to create floral and container design projects in-store, off-site, and in private residential settings. They uphold terrain’s four promises: to welcome, to inspire, to inform and to appreciate our customer. Each summer, URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of business they choose to pursue. Our paid internship program also offers a summer full of intern-focused events, including exposure to senior leadership through small-group settings, insight into company initiatives, off-site field trips, and, for those who qualify, the opportunity to interview for a full-time position. The URBN 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/7 through 8/13.

Requirements

Passion for horticulture and floral design
Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

Builds genuine customer relationships through personalized attention
Understands terrain retail concepts and partners with design team to create a cohesive environment through compelling plant installations and displays
Exhibits an interest in home and garden trends in art, style, color, design, and architecture
Takes initiative and works productively solo or within a team
Clear communication + team work skills
Collaborates in the project planning process through sharing of inspiration & idea generation
