About The Position

Cherokee Town & Country Club, one of the nation’s premier private clubs, is seeking a Terrace Server to join our team at the Town Club in Buckhead. This role is more than just taking orders; our Terrace Servers create personalized dining experiences through genuine connections, polished service, and an eye for the details that turn good service into great hospitality. This position offers the opportunity to get to know members, learn their preferences, and create personalized service. It also allows for expanding knowledge of food, wine, and proper service techniques in a premier private club environment, and gaining valuable experience alongside hospitality professionals committed to exceptional standards and developing talent from within.

Requirements

Previous serving or similar hospitality experience.
A friendly, welcoming, and professional personality.
Strong communication and attention to detail.
General knowledge of restaurant operations.
Confidence making food and beverage recommendations.
A team-first attitude and genuine passion for hospitality.
Ability to remain active and on your feet throughout the shift and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

Provide warm, attentive, and polished service to members and guests.
Create genuine connections by learning member names and preferences.
Guide members through menu offerings, daily specials, wine, and beverage selections.
Take and serve food and beverage orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
Deliver proper food, wine, and table service throughout the dining experience.
Anticipate needs and quickly resolve service concerns.
Work collaboratively with the Terrace team to create a seamless experience from arrival to departure.
