About The Position

The primary purpose of this role is for our technicians to use their expertise to play a role in protecting customers properties from wood destroying organisms. As a Termite technician you are the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding customers' properties. The inspections, prevention and treatment services that you provide will create peace of mind and comfort for our customers. Since 1927, Terminix has been an industry leader in pest control. You’ll be on a mission to find and eliminate insect and rodent infestations, but we're more than just a pest control company. Terminix offers insulation services, wildlife control and many specialized services to help protect your home. Requirements

  • Clean shaven face- for safety reasons (rebreathers have to be able to seal your face)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must posses a valid driver's license from state of residence.
  • At least 1 years of customer service
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Be flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
  • Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • You’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels.

Nice To Haves

  • experience in termite control is a plus
  • General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is plus
  • Handyman and Construction Background candidates highly encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Identify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps
  • Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices
  • Applying anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
  • Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to treatment process
  • Verifying that job specifications are appropriate for each work order
  • Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
  • Completing production forms documenting services provided
  • Interacting with customers and explaining services provided
