About The Position

We are hiring Termination Contract Specialists. They will provide expert guidance on the procedural, legal, and operational requirements for terminating contracts, ensuring compliance with U.S. Government regulations. This is a hybrid, full-time role working closely with Contracting Officers (COs), legal counsel, technical offices, and partners.

• FAC-C Professional or the CFCM Certification
• Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Advise on terminations for convenience or default of contracts. Individuals must have demonstrated abilities to assimilate and apply knowledge on all types of award mechanisms quickly and efficiently.
• Prepare all required documentation for award terminations, including termination notices, determinations and findings, negotiation memoranda, and settlement agreements.
• Process actions in government contracts and financial management system.
• Coordinate with technical teams and implementing partners to manage the termination process.
• Assess financial, contractual, and programmatic implications of terminations and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure post-termination actions, including audits, final payments, and closeouts, are completed in compliance with government policy policy.
• Develop guidance, templates, and training materials to strengthen the customers institutional approach to award terminations.
