Posting Job Summary (Purpose): Under the direction of the Regional Logistics Manager the incumbent will function as a working supervisor to unload propane rail cars, supervise the operations of the terminal, oversee the Rail Car inventory; complete daily and month end inventory reports; oversee loading of trucks; and perform maintenance and repairs on Terminal Equipment while operating in a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous propane rail car and truck experience preferred
Capable of climbing a ladder and working on top of a rail car
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Two years’ experience as a Terminal Operator for LPG Operations
High school education or equivalent
Mechanical experience dealing with pumps and compressors
Experience in hazardous materials handling
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications

Responsibilities

Take daily temperature, pressure and liquid level readings of the storage tanks and record
Complete a daily inventory report
Complete a month end inventory report
Unload propane rail cars and be able to load rail cars
Oversee the loading of LPG trucks and be able to unload LPG trucks
Complete rail car and truck paper work
Perform and equipment maintenance and repairs
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Logistics Manager
