About The Position

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) has an opportunity for a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated individual as a Terminal Operator based in Picton, Ontario. The P&H Grain Division is a comprehensive grain and crop input network, operating across approximately 45 locations in the prairie provinces and Ontario. Our strategically positioned facilities, including grain elevators, rail sidings, inland terminals, and specialized export terminals, ensure that we effectively match producer grain with the needs of both domestic and export end users. As a full-service agri-retailer, we provide farming communities with a full range of quality crop input products and agronomic solutions, encompassing crop protection products, certified seeds, nutrients, and custom applications.

Requirements

Must be available to work a flexible schedule with rotating shifts that include days/afternoons and nights.
Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including winter environments, and in environments subject to dust and allergens.
Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or terminal operations.
Proficient in basic computer operations, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software.
Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.).
Valid G driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Experience with agricultural or heavy equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Contributing to the movement of grain by operating equipment to load/unload shipments.
Collecting and testing commodity samples.
Regular terminal maintenance and housekeeping.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
Performing exceptional customer service duties.
